Any changes to the Chart of Accounts structure in FMS can be exported to FPS at any time. This will update the ledger/fund/cost centre combinations available to select against budgets in FPS. Any changes to the budgets in FPS can be exported to FMS at any time. This ensures that the impact of changes to the budget on the five year projections can be seen in the five year plan before being imported into FMS. It also provides a quick and easy way to ensure that the FMS budgets reflect the strategic five year plan.
The Personnel 7 Link has been designed to enable import of the bulk of staffing data from P7 to FPSadvance.Net. This will save the user a considerable amount of time usually spent entering staffing data twice. The link is not designed to create a seamless link whereby data entered in P7 instantly appears in FMS as an exact replica.
