We help Authorities in offering a proactive and cost effective solution when assisting schools with financial reviews and Deficit Recovery Planning. We have had considerable success with a number of Authorities utilising our unique approach.
Focusing on Deficit Recovery Planning
Our approach to deficit recovery planning can be tailored to your own Authority’s requirements however as a minimum you would receive the following:
- A five year financial projection for any school involved in the project
- Recommendations on a financial strategy
- A recovery plan with a realistic time frame for recovery
- A proposal containing short, medium and long term actions required to support the recovery plan – all taking into account financial and curriculum needs.
To provide such a comprehensive service our unique approach involves a team of Consultants, including a specialist Curriculum Consultant, who would spend time working with the Finance Officer/Bursar and Head Teacher of the school, for up to three days. We then use our own market leading Financial Planning for Schools© software, to assist in the development of a five year financial plan. This takes into account anticipated pupil and staffing numbers, curriculum delivery, and other key financial drivers.
Our experience to date, our flexible and innovative approach, along with our friendly and responsive service means that we are able to provide references from a wide range of users, including various Authorities as well as individual schools.
